Inside The Mind Of A Telecommuting Employer!

I recently had an employer advertise her job in my newsletter and it got me wondering what employers are thinking when the applicants start flooding in. After speaking with her I was able to get some really valuable feedback and I wanted to share that with you.

"Avoid using abbreviations and acronyms in your cover letter and resume. Or at least spell it out in the first instance and give the abbreviation in parenthesis. For example, Medical Transcription (MT)- Linda S.

This is a great tip. I think many of us do abbreviate and we might not always remember to spell everything out in our cover letters and résumés, but it is important that we do.

Desperate On the Internet

I am probably in the same situation as millions of other people trying to earn a reasonable income by working from HOME. I have been trying all the programs, I could afford, reading the Guru articles, following the instructions of many programs with plans on how to earn on the internet with very little success.



I would like to first give a brief description of myself, family and desperate financial situation. I retired from a large communication company 8 years ago with the hope and dream of living a comfortable retirement. I live in a beautiful area in Michigan's Upper Peninsula with little traffic (other than tourists), beautiful and scenic views of nature (the beautiful forests, scenic Lake Superior, fall colors, winter's beauty, and lots of wild game), the best people in the world (the type of people America was built on) and a beautiful house. Features Of A Good Ergonomic Chair

Using ergonomic chairs in the workplace is more important now than it was before. The human body is not designed to sit for hours at an end in front of a desk, and yet more and more people find themselves chained to a desk, working in front of a computer most of the time. Sitting for long, continuous hours puts a lot of strain on the muscles and eventually causes the body to sustain occupational injuries. Using an ergonomic chair at least minimizes the strain that the body experiences while sitting for extended periods in front of a desk.



Not all ergonomic chairs, however, are true ergonomic chairs. Some manufacturers call their products ergonomic chairs in order to capture a market that is so in need of relief from pain caused by strain on the lower back, on the neck, on the arms, on the legs and on the shoulders.
